Terri McCarthy earned a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education from Northern Michigan University. She is also a Licensed Parenting Consultant. She has been a School Counselor for 26 of her 28 years in Education. Her experience spans Kindergarten through Secondary and Post Secondary. She has also worked in a hospital setting as an Adolescent Substance Abuse Counselor.

She is currently employed as a School Counselor at Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MN.
She has been a guest speaker on many occasions addressing parents and school staff on the following topics; Communication, supervision, modeling behavior, rewards and consequences, follow through and consistency, drugs and alcohol, and recognizing red flag behaviors.

Terri is an active community member and is available for Public Speaking Events as well as Private Parent/Family Consulting.

Terri is married with three children and resides in Prior Lake, MN.
